Duplicate Record Check

Summary

Click the button on the list page to check all records in the app for duplicate keys. For each duplicate key, the plugin writes a message to the second and subsequent records in the specified sort order.

This plugin supports smartphones.

How to use

Choose the duplicate key, sort field, and sort order, then specify the destination field and duplicate message. Click the duplicate-check button on the list page and confirm. The plugin checks all records in the app, regardless of the list filter, and writes the message to the second and subsequent records with the same key.

When it runs

Depending on the settings, this customization runs at the following times. Any configured conditions are also evaluated.

  • When you open a record list page
  • When you click a button added by this plugin

Click the button added by this customization to run the operation.

Parameters

Enter or select a value for each setting unless it is marked optional.

Key fields used to determine duplicates

Please specify the field that will be used as the key to determine duplicates.

The following field types cannot be selected.

  • Check box
  • Multi-choice
  • Attachment
  • User selection
  • Department selection
  • Group selection
  • Assignee
  • Table
  • Related records
  • Field group
  • Label
  • Blank space
  • Border

Fields inside tables cannot be selected.

Field to Sort By

Please specify the field to be used as the sort criterion when checking for duplicates. A message will be set for the second and subsequent records when duplicate records are sorted.

The following field types cannot be selected.

  • Check box
  • Multi-choice
  • Attachment
  • User selection
  • Department selection
  • Group selection
  • Assignee
  • Table
  • Related records
  • Field group
  • Label
  • Blank space
  • Border

Fields inside tables cannot be selected.

Sort Order

Please specify whether to sort the fields in ascending or descending order.

Available options:

  • Ascending
  • Descending

Initial value: Ascending

Where to Enter Duplicate Results

Please specify the field for which you want to set a message in case of a duplicate.

The following field types can be selected.

  • Text
  • Text area

Fields inside tables cannot be selected.

Duplicate Message

Please configure the message to be displayed in case of a duplicate. The content entered in this parameter will be set to the field as a string; even if a field is specified, the field value will not be retrieved.

Initial value: レコード重複あり

Restrictions

Operation is not guaranteed in apps where the field code of the Record number field has been changed.

Specify different values for “Key fields used to determine duplicates” and “Where to Enter Duplicate Results”.

Specify different values for “Field to Sort By” and “Where to Enter Duplicate Results”.
