Make a field copied via lookup editable. Editing it does not affect the record in the source app, but the value is overwritten by the source value the next time the lookup is retrieved.

Select the fields copied by a lookup that users should be able to edit. Editing them does not change the master record, but retrieving the lookup again replaces the edits with the master values.
Depending on the settings, this customization runs at the following times. Any configured conditions are also evaluated.

The page-display and field-change triggers exclude inline editing from the pencil icon on the list page.
Enter or select a value for each setting unless it is marked optional.
Configure the following items as a group. Configure at least 1 entries. Add more entries as needed.
Please select the field you want to make editable.
The following field types cannot be selected.
Fields inside tables cannot be selected.
