Change Background Color

Summary

This changes the background color of the specified field. You can also choose to change the color only when certain conditions are met.

How to use

Choose the pages and fields whose appearance you want to change. Use a condition to apply the formatting only when needed, such as when a field contains a value that requires attention.

When it runs

Depending on the settings, this customization runs at the following times. Any configured conditions are also evaluated.

  • When you open a record list page
  • When you open a record details page
  • When you open a record creation page
  • When you edit and change a target field value
  • When you open an existing record for editing

The page-display and field-change triggers exclude inline editing from the pencil icon on the list page.

Parameters

Enter or select a value for each setting unless it is marked optional.

Page

Please select which screen to apply this to.

Available options:

  • Record List Page
  • Record Detail Page
  • Record Create Page
  • Record Edit Page

Initial value: Record List Page, Record Create Page, Record Detail Page, Record Edit Page

Fields

Please select the fields whose background color you want to change. Selecting multiple fields will apply the same color to all of them.

The following field types cannot be selected.

  • Rich text
  • Table
  • Related records
  • Label
  • Blank space
  • Border

Background Color

Choose the background color for the selected fields.

Initial value: #FFFF80

Condition

You can set the background color to change only when certain conditions are met. Leave this unset to apply the plugin without this filter. You can configure up to 1 entries.
