Edit a field copied from the lookup’s source app (the master), and use its value to update the record in the source app.
This plugin supports smartphones.
Use this plugin to write a value copied by a lookup back to the master app. Select the lookup, the field to edit in this app, and its destination in the master. On a creation or edit page, click the button that enables editing, change the value, then click the update button. Confirm to update the master record matching the lookup key.
Depending on the settings, this customization runs at the following times. Any configured conditions are also evaluated.
Click the button added by this customization to run the operation.
The page-display and field-change triggers exclude inline editing from the pencil icon on the list page.
Enter or select a value for each setting unless it is marked optional.
Please select a lookup field. Please note that for this plugin to work, the apps referenced by the lookup fields must also be registered in gusuku Customine.

Register the master app in Customine as well. The update button writes to the master; saving the record in this app is a separate operation.
