Customize

When you receive a call with Amazon Connect

Summary

Execute the action when you receive a call with Amazon Connect.

How to use

When you open an app with this condition set during customization, a button labeled “Open Amazon Connect Control Panel” will be placed at the top of the Kintone app. Clicking this button will open the Amazon Connect control panel in a pop-up window. Use this control panel to answer incoming calls or to end calls.

This condition is triggered when an incoming call is received in the control panel, **not **when you answer the phone and begin the call. If you want to trigger the condition at the start of the call, please use “When you start a call with Amazon Connect.”

Parameters

Set Alias name of Amazon Connect.

Alias name of Amazon Connect

Enter the alias name of the Amazon Connect instance. You can find the name in the AWS Management Console.

Differences in operation compared to the old version:

If you are using Customine version 1.81 or earlier (released on February 27, 2020) and connected to the Kintone app, the “Open Amazon Connect Control Panel” button will not be displayed, and the Amazon Connect Control Panel will open automatically.

Since version 1.82 (released on March 5, 2020), the control panel no longer opens automatically, and instead, a button has been installed.

Precautions

  • When using Amazon Connect integration with Customine, you need to set your Kintone domain as an “approved origin” in the Amazon Connect settings.

  • The condition will not occur unless you log in to Amazon Connect and set the operator status to Available. It will not occur if you are not logged in or if you are logged in but the status is Offline. If you are not logged into Amazon Connect, the login screen for Amazon Connect will automatically open in a separate tab.

  • This condition will also trigger in cases where there is an incoming call when the app is opened, and the call has not yet been answered. Therefore, if you set up an action to transition screens for this condition, please do so carefully. For example, if you have set it up to open the same app screen in a new tab when a call comes in on Amazon Connect, the condition “When you receive a call with Amazon Connect” will also trigger in the newly opened tab. This can lead to an endless loop of tabs continuously opening until the call is answered.
