When you change a field value, save the record, or click a button, automatically enter the address corresponding to a postal code into prefecture and address fields.
This plugin supports smartphones.
Choose the postal-code field and the fields that will receive the address. Select whether to retrieve the address when the postal code changes, when the record is saved, or when the button is clicked. For button-based retrieval, click the address conversion button in the postal-code field on a record creation or edit page.
Depending on the settings, this customization runs at the following times. Any configured conditions are also evaluated.
Click the button added by this customization to run the operation.
The page-display and field-change triggers exclude inline editing from the pencil icon on the list page.
Enter or select a value for each setting unless it is marked optional.
Please select whether to retrieve the address immediately upon entering the ZIP code, upon saving, or when you click the button in the ZIP code field. Please note that when this feature is active, it will overwrite the fields used to enter the address based on the ZIP code (prefecture field, city/town/village field, and address field).

When this plugin runs, it overwrites the Prefecture, City, and Address fields based on the postal code.
Specify different values for “Postal Code Field” and “Prefecture Field”.

When retrieving on edit, the plugin checks the format of a nonempty postal code. If any address destination already contains a value, it asks for confirmation before overwriting. Button-based retrieval also checks the format but does not ask for overwrite confirmation. These format checks accept seven digits or the format 123-4567.
