When you save a record, set a value using the auto-numbering feature. You can configure detailed settings such as the numbering unit, zero-padding and digit count, prefix/suffix strings, and the numbering key.
This plugin supports smartphones.
Select the field for the generated number and configure its scope and numbering cycle. Adjust the digit count, prefix, and suffix to match your reference-number format.
Depending on the settings, this customization runs at the following times. Any configured conditions are also evaluated.
Inline editing from the pencil icon on the list page is also included.

Fields inside tables cannot be selected.
Please choose whether to disable the field where the assigned value will be entered or to leave it enabled.

Choose whether numbering is managed per app. This setting is optional.

Choose whether to pad the number with zeros to reach the specified digit count.

Specify the number of digits for zero-padded numbers. This setting is optional.
Initial value: 3
Enter text to place before the number, such as a reference-number category. This setting is optional.
Enter text to place after the number. This setting is optional.
Choose the cycle for resetting the numbering sequence. This setting is optional.

Initial value: Nothing to do
Enter a key identifying the numbering sequence. Use the same key for settings that should share a sequence. This setting is optional.
The field-disabling option controls manual editing. A number is assigned immediately before saving only if the number field is empty, so saving an already-numbered record leaves its number unchanged. Reusing a record clears the number so a new one can be assigned on saving.
