When you change a field value or save the record, treat it as an error if a number field’s value is outside a specified range (minimum/maximum).
This plugin supports smartphones.
Choose the numeric fields and their allowed range. Validation runs when a target field changes and when the record is saved. Optionally set conditions and additional fields whose changes should trigger validation.
Depending on the settings, this customization runs at the following times. Any configured conditions are also evaluated.
The page-display and field-change triggers exclude inline editing from the pencil icon on the list page.
Enter or select a value for each setting unless it is marked optional.
Choose the numeric field whose value must fall within the allowed range. You can select more than one field.
The following field types can be selected.
Specify the lowest allowed value.
Specify the highest allowed value.
When editing, if there are fields you want to check in the “Fields to Check” section, specify them here. You can select more than one field. This setting is optional.
The following field types cannot be selected.
A numerical check is performed only if the conditions are met. Leave this unset to apply the plugin without this filter. You can configure up to 5 entries.
Specify different values for “Field to Check” and “Items subject to value checks when edited”.
Editing-time validation runs when the numeric field changes and when a field selected as an additional trigger changes. If the configured condition is no longer met, the error on the target field is cleared.
The following actions and conditions are useful when building similar behavior in customization mode.
