Click the button on the list screen to number, in bulk, any records that match the current filter and do not yet have a number. You can configure settings such as the numbering key, zero-padding, and prefix/suffix strings.
This plugin supports smartphones.
Select the number field and configure the numbering format and key. Click the bulk numbering button on a list page to find unnumbered records matching the current filter. Confirm the count to assign and save numbers in ascending record-number order.
Depending on the settings, this customization runs at the following times. Any configured conditions are also evaluated.
Click the button added by this customization to run the operation.

Choose whether to pad the number with zeros to reach the specified digit count.

Specify the number of digits for zero-padded numbers. This setting is optional.

Enter text to place before the number, such as a reference-number category. This setting is optional.
Enter text to place after the number. This setting is optional.
Choose the cycle for resetting the numbering sequence. This setting is optional.

Enter a key identifying the numbering sequence. Use the same key for settings that should share a sequence. This setting is optional.
Operation is not guaranteed in apps where the field code of the Record number field has been changed.
Only records with an empty number field are processed; existing numbers are retained. The field-disabling setting controls manual editing. Reusing a record clears its number field.
