Set a placeholder in a field’s input area. You can use this to show an example of what to enter. Once the user starts entering a value, the placeholder disappears.

Choose the fields and enter the examples or hints to display. Placeholder text guides input; it is not stored as the field’s value.
Depending on the settings, this customization runs at the following times. Any configured conditions are also evaluated.
The page-display and field-change triggers exclude inline editing from the pencil icon on the list page.
Enter or select a value for each setting unless it is marked optional.
Configure the following items as a group. Configure at least 1 entries. Add more entries as needed.
Select the field where the input hint should appear.
The following field types can be selected.
Fields inside tables cannot be selected.
Enter the example or hint to show while the input is empty.
