Click the button to narrow down the records shown in the lookup’s selection dialog, based on the current record’s values. You can narrow it down further using preset conditions.
This plugin supports smartphones.
Choose the lookup field and the fields to display in the selection dialog. On a creation or edit page, click Retrieve to search for records whose key contains the text entered in the lookup. If the lookup is empty, all records are candidates. To narrow the candidates further, configure a field in the referenced app, comparison operator, and comparison value. Select a record to retrieve its lookup data, or click Clear to clear the lookup.
Depending on the settings, this customization runs at the following times. Any configured conditions are also evaluated.
Click the button added by this customization to run the operation.
The page-display and field-change triggers exclude inline editing from the pencil icon on the list page.

The following field types can be selected.
Choose the field in the referenced app to compare when filtering candidates. Leave it unset to skip this additional filter. This setting is optional.
The following field types cannot be selected.
Select from the app referenced by “Lookup Field”.
Choose how to compare the selected field with the comparison value. This setting is optional.
Available options:
Specify the comparison value. To filter using a value from the current record, select that field. This setting is optional.
Choose the fields shown when selecting a lookup candidate. You can select more than one field.
The following field types cannot be selected.
Select from the app referenced by “Lookup Field”.
If you configure “Fields used as filter criteria”, also configure “Conditions”.
