Set the reference time zone when calculating the date and time.
For example, if you are trying to get today’s date, that date may vary depending on the time difference. For example, in Japan, it might be 2021-01-01, but in the eastern United States, it might still be 2020-12-31.
“Set Time Zone” sets the time difference information that serves as a basis for calculating dates and times in this way.
If you get and calculate the date and time without ever “Set Time Zone,” it will be JST. If you want to do something other than JST, use “Set Time Zone” to set it to the desired time zone before you start getting and calculating the dates and times.
