Export Records to Other App's Table

Summary

Export record data to the table in the specified app.

How to use

You can export records retrieved through actions like “Retrieve Records by Providing Conditions in Query” to the rows of a table in another app.

The original records may come from different apps or be obtained from the same app using “[Retrieve Table Rows as Records[.”

If multiple output records are generated based on the combination of the “Key Field” and “Key Value,” all these records will be included in the output.

Parameters

Set Target App, Key Field, Key Value, Destination Table, Source Record, Mapping to Table, and Existing Row.

Target App

Specify the app to export to. It does not necessarily have to be a different app; it can also be the same app as the one being customized.

Key Field

Select the key field to determine the destination record. Select from the fields of the destination app.

This parameter does not accept fields that are inside tables.

Note that this parameter does not accept the following field types:

  • Category
  • Table
  • Related records
  • Field group
  • Blank space

Key Value

Enter the key value that determines the destination record.

Destination Table

Select the table of the destination app to which you want to export.

Source Record

Specify the action used to obtain the source records.

Mapping to Table

Set the field (column )value of the table to export.

For detailed descriptions of this parameter, please refer to How to Define Field Mappings.

If the value of the field is left empty, that field will not be outputted instead of outputting an empty value.

Existing Row

You can choose to either clear the existing rows in the destination table or append without clearing.

If you choose “Clear existing row,” it will be cleared even if the source has no data.

About detecting competition

Conflicts in updates are always checked.

Restrictions

The field values outside the table cannot be updated.
