Display Both Selected Value and Choices of Field

Summary

Change the display of values for checkboxes and dropdown fields on the record details and record list pages to include options.

How to use

Without customization, on record details and list pages, checkboxes and dropdown fields display only the selected values. Using the “Display Both Selected Value and Choices of Field” option will show all options, even those that were not selected.

Display Both Selected Value and Choices of Field

This action can be used on the record details, the record print, and the record list pages. This action also supports the “Create Composite View of List and Detail” and the “Create List View That Can Display Subtable” actions.

Parameters

Set Field.

Field

Select the fields to display all options, including unselected ones.

This parameter accepts the following field types:

  • Check box
  • Radio button
  • Drop-down
  • Multi-choice

This parameter does not accept fields that are inside tables.

Compatibility with krewSheet

This action does not support krewSheet.

Known issues

  • It has been confirmed that there is a problem where records are not re-rendered correctly when deleting records on the record list page or moving pages while editing records with the pencil icon.

Restrictions

  • Even if the “Layout” in the checkbox settings is set to “Horizontal”, the “Display Both Selected Value and Choices of Field” will display the options vertically. You cannot display the options horizontally.

  • The fields in the table are not supported.

  • Internet Explorer 11 is not supported.
