Display the canvas on which you can draw freehand lines in the blank space field.
When you execute this action, the “Freehand Canvas canvas” will be displayed in the specified blank space field. You can freely draw lines using the mouse or touch operations on the handwritten canvas. The drawn lines can be saved as an image in several ways. You can also discard without saving the image.
You can choose to save the image using one of the following methods.
Set Place, Background Image, Pen Color, Pen Size in Pixel, Palette, Save Attachment Fields, and Save File Name.
Specify the Blank space field to display the canvas.
The width and height of the canvas can be adjusted to fit this blank space field.
If you place elements other than the canvas in a blank space field, the display may break. Therefore, set only one canvas per blank space field whenever possible.
Select the attachment field containing the image to be displayed as the background of the canvas.
The first file set in this field will be set as the background image. Subsequent files will be ignored. If no files are attached, the background image will not be displayed, and there will be no particular error.
This parameter is optional. When omitted, the background image will not be applied to the canvas.
Cannot be used in the New record page or the Edit record page. When executing “Show Freehand Canvas at Blank Space Filed” on the New record or the Edit record page, an error occurs if a background image is specified.
Specify the default pen color.
If you select the “Show Palette” option mentioned later, users can change the color using the palette. If the palette is disabled, the pen color will be fixed in this color.
Specify the default pen size in pixels.
Select whether to display the palette or not.
Selecting “Show Palette” will show the palette on the canvas. In the palette, you can adjust the pen color and size, as well as undo and clear lines using the available buttons. Furthermore, if the “Save Destination Attachment File Field” is selected, the Save button will also appear on the record details and the print page.
If the “Don’t Show Palette” is selected, the palette will not appear on the canvas. The palette functions mentioned above, such as changing pen color, will also become unavailable.
Specify the save destination field to save the image after handwritten input.
This parameter is optional. If omitted, you need to use the “Save Freehand Canvas as Image” action to save the handwritten image.
If specified, the operation will change depending on the page.
Specify the file name when saving a handwritten image in the “Attachment File Field for Save Destination.”
This parameter is optional. By default, it will be “freehand.png”.
If the “Save Attachment Fields” is omitted, specifying the “Save File Name” has no affect.
