Get incoming phone number on Amazon Connect

Retrieve the most recent phone number received on Amazon Connect.

How to use

To retrieve a number with this action, you must set the condition “When you receive a call with Amazon Connect” or “When you start a call with Amazon Connect” in the customization.

When a call is received, retrieve the caller’s number. You can get the most recent incoming call’s number, but please note that you can only get this number for incoming calls; it is not possible to retrieve the recipient’s number during an outgoing call.

You can get the caller’s number even before answering the call. Also, after disconnection, provided that it is between the disconnection and the next incoming call.

The number obtained will be in E.164 format (e.g., +8109000000000). To convert this to the domestic format in Japan, use the “Format Phone Number” action.

Parameters

There are no parameters to be set.

Precautions

  • When using Amazon Connect integration with Customine, you need to set your Kintone domain as an “approved origin” in the Amazon Connect settings.

Restrictions

  • Once you navigate away from the page, the phone number for the incoming call cannot be retrieved.
